It would appear my impromptu Eva Mendes retrospective has become an actual event. Funny how that happens.
There is a valid reason for me watching this. It wasn’t just my OCD acting up again.
And so, another week comes to a close with some delicious blood and guts. We’re in the final countdown folks; barely 50 days left in the year. Can you stick it out with me? There’s no way I’m quitting now.
It’s a good thing we’re getting near the end of the year, because my unnamed movie streaming services have turned out to have pretty slim pickings when it comes to kids films that are even remotely watchable for anyone with a mental age higher than 3. Last year, shortly after the UK cinema release, 5-Word featured its first guest review; a fittingly verbose column on this film from Clare Williams (read it here). In the intro to that piece, I said that Clare would be contributing more to the site in the future, but as it turns out, we can’t afford her. You’ll just have to make do with me. But anyway, here’s Day 226.
