I’m dreaming of a white Christmas, but Netflix was on the blink so I had to go with a random blu-ray instead.

I loved Re-Animator, but I haven’t seen it in years. Add to that the fact that one of my all-time favourite gross-out horror flicks is Brian Yuzna’s Society, and it’s clear that this was right up my alley.
I might have to retire the WTF Sunday strand after today’s film. It’s going to be very difficult to top this one for sheer, eye-popping insanity.

Damn you, Vince Gilligan. Everything I ever watch about drug dealers and producers will now be measured up against Breaking Bad, and will inevitably be found wanting*. I’ll do my best to leave that aside for today though.
