It’s arbitrary landmark time again! Yay! July 18th is now Day 200. Uncork the fireworks, light the champagne, smoke ’em if you got ’em. Since today is Arbitrary Landmark Day, things are going to be a little bit different. You know me; sometimes I just like to shake shit up. The idea actually came from my flatmate Iida, who gave me a (fittingly) arbitrary deadline to write this. That deadline was a rather generous fifteen minutes, and I’ve just wasted seven of them getting here. So before Steve* is yanked from my grasp, I suppose I had better get on with this. To those who have been reading these ill-thought-out brainfarts over the last 200 days, I say thank you. To those who have made yourselves known, I say muchas gracias amigos. And to those who just arrived, I say you’ve got some catching up to do.

Not that old chestnut again?
The 10% Myth
Has been made into a script.
But it’s still bullshit.
Cooper. DeNiro.
And a pill to make you smart.
Silly haircut though.
Intriguing premise,
And fascinating visuals.
But what’s with the hair?
A Russian loan shark.
I didn’t see that coming.
(Sarcastic haiku)
Neil Burger directs.
He made The Illusionist.
I like this film more.
*Just to be clear, Steve is my laptop.
Happy 200! 🙂 Never saw this because it looked completely boring but I very much enjoyed your poem/haikus!
Nice haiku. Haven’t seen this one, but even with the inane overdone premise (I’m pretty sick of the 10% myth), it still sounds like it might be interesting.
Thanks, man. It is good yeah. Better than I was expecting anyway. Bradley Cooper carries the whole movie though. The guy is in just about every scene.
Good job, Movie-A-Day, Brutha! We both just hit 200! Let’s keep on keeping on!
